John Longmire set to step down as Sydney Swans head coach
Sydney Swans coach John Longmire will today announce he is quitting the role effective immediately, after 14 years in the role.
The decision has reportedly been made in the last week or two, with players to be told over the next few hours.

Assistant coach Dean Cox will take over from Longmire, after much speculation about a succession plan.
Longmire coached the Swans to premiership success in 2012, taking his side to four other grand finals in his tenure.
