Joel Selwood undergoes surgery, won’t return to training until next year

Joel Selwood will have a delayed start to the pre-season.

The Geelong captain has had minor hamstring surgery.

Selwood, 31, had the operation earlier this month.

He told the Geelong Advertiser he hoped to return to training with his teammates in January.
