Joel Selwood opens up on ‘rollercoaster’ IVF journey with wife Brit

Geelong champion Joel Selwood has opened up about the “rollercoaster” In-Vitro-Fertilisation (IVF) journey he’s taken on with his wife Brit in the last few years, which led to the birth of their son Joey earlier this year.

Joel and Brit married in 2020, but struggled to have a baby. After multiple miscarriages, the couple decided to go down the IVF route.

“Any male out there, if you’ve got an idea on what IVF is, then think again, because what the women have to go through is just extraordinary,” Selwood told Neil Mitchell.
