Jimmy Bartel outlines his ‘issue’ with St Kilda right now

Jimmy Bartel says St Kilda must simply move the ball quicker if they want to improve their scoring.

Ahead of the Saints’ clash on Friday night against Brisbane at the Gabba, their game style has been questioned again after they kicked just seven goals against Gold Coast last weekend.

Bartel told Wide World of Sports the Saints’ style of moving the ball inside their forward half was hurting them.

“Give your forwards a better chance,” he said on 3AW.

“If you go really slow, sides force you wide (to take your shots). They are 18th in every statistical area as far as scoring in your front half.”
