Jetstar’s incredible act for Russell, the 64-year-old VCE graduate with cerebral palsy

Remember Russell? He spoke with Tony Jones, who is filling in for Neil Mitchell, this week after completing his VCE.
He’s 64 and has had years of setbacks and learning struggles to due his cerebral palsy and other conditions.
Well, Jetstar was listening to Russell share his story with TJ and has made an incredible donation to Russell, his teacher and two of their friends.

Understandably, it led to an emotional response from Russell.
He then revealed even more of his story, proving just how resilient he is.
“I didn’t mention it yesterday but during COVID I lost one of my dearest friends to suicide,” Russell said.
“Selina (teacher) made me stay on track.”
