Jeff Kennett blasts Damien Hardwick for ‘totally unfair’ Jacinta Allan comments

Former Victorian Premier Jeff Kennett has slammed Damien Hardwick’s current commentary on Jacinta Allan.

The current Premier has been strong in her condemnation of Noah Balta’s recent conduct, which has since seen him convicted of assault.

Mr Kennett rang into 3AW Mornings to defend Ms Allan, whom the Gold Coast coach has repeatedly called out in recent days.

“I was troubled when Damien Hardwick first came out and attacked the Premier,” he said on 3AW.

“And I’m more troubled since he’s drilled down further on (the discussion around Noah Balta).

“It is totally unfair and incorrect that Damien Hardwick would use his profile to attack a Premier for simply expressing a view that most of us would agree with.”
