Jane Hume weighs in on ‘very strange’ TV interview she was involved in

Jane Hume concedes a live TV interview she was involved in on Wednesday morning became unexpectedly heated, saying it was a “very strange” experience.

The Shadow Defence Minister appeared on Sunrise alongside Independent MP Jacqui Lambie, who choked back tears as she spoke about potential cuts in the budget to Veteran Affairs.

Speaking to 3AW Drive, Jane Hume said it was a strange experience to be attacked live on air by the “unpredictable” Ms Lambie.

“It was an unexpectedly heated interview,” she told Jacqui Felgate.

“It was very strange, but Jacqui Lambie is an unpredictable character.”
