Jacqui Felgate exposes ‘really nasty undercurrent’ on display during CFMEU rallies

Jacqui Felgate has exposed a “really nasty undercurrent” within the CFMEU, which was on display during Tuesday’s rallies across the country.

Thousands of union members protested in the city in support of the CFMEU, with demonstrations largely taking place peacefully.

But one image circulating on social media showed a cartoon at the rally likening Prime Minister Anthony Albanese to Hitler, which was condemned by Member for Caulfield David Southwick.

“It is just appalling that people would stoop so low,” Mr Southwick said on 3AW Drive.

“These individuals don’t care about anyone else but themselves.”
