Jacqui Felgate clashes with Palestinian spokesperson over cancelled Christmas windows protest
Jacqui Felgate has clashed with President of the Australia Palestine Advocacy Network, Nasser Mashni, over the now cancelled pro-Palestine protest outside of the Myer Christmas windows on the weekend.
Mr Nashni had no involvement in the planned protest, but is directly involved in weekly Sunday protests, with this week’s route now changed to avoid Bourke Street near the unveiling of the windows.
And the 3AW Drive host repeatedly questioned the Palestinian spokesperson over whether he would support the plan to “crash” the Christmas windows.

“I’m not going to condemn any sort of legal action that is trying to highlight what is happening to Palestinian people,” Mr Nashni said.
“I don’t think you’re getting the barbarity of exactly what’s occurring.”
State opposition leader John Pesutto then stated he’s “disgusted” the protesters won, and has called for move-on laws to be reinstated, something he claims he could bring in by the end of the year if he was in power.
“We would act immediately … the Premier is the most powerful person in the state and the one who has the ability to do something about it, yet refuses to act,” Pesutto told Jacqui Felgate.
