Jacinta Allan discusses her priorities as Victoria’s new Premier

Jacinta Allan has outlined her priorities as Victoria’s new Premier and has also discussed why the government persists with the Suburban Rail Loop while canning the Commonwealth Games.

She discussed working under premiers such as Daniel Andrews and says she hopes to bring her own style to the role.

“[Steve Bracks] gave us the opportunity to sit in a really strong cabinet room with really strong politicians,” she told Tom Elliott.

She also discussed the Suburban Rail Loop and how it will be an investment for the “future”.

“Our city is the fastest growing city in the country, we cannot have a situation where the city grinds to a halt,” she said.
