‘It’s time’: Veteran 3AW reporter Denis O’Kane calls time on career!

Veteran 3AW reporter Denis O’Kane will finish up today as a full-time newscaster after 27 years and “three goes” in the 3AW newsroom.

He revealed to 3AW Breakfast his time is up after almost 60 years in the industry, but it won’t be the last time 3AW listeners hear him on the airways.

“It’s time to ease – I spoke to management here and we’ve actually decided that alright, I’ll finish full-time but I can fill in,” he said.
