‘It’s just ridiculous’: Sly slams the ‘new and absolutely stupid’ disclosure laws in Victoria

Sly of the Underworld has slammed the “new and absolutely stupid” disclosure laws in Victoria.

It comes after all of the dishonesty charges were dropped in the case of Nicole Debs, who is the ex-girlfriend of Jason Roberts and daughter of serial killer Bandali Debs, after police were investigating an alleged fraud she committed.

Roberts was acquitted in 2022 in the re-trial of the murders of Victoria Police officers Sergeant Gary Silk and Senior Constable Rodney Miller in 1998, while Bandali Debs is serving four life sentences.

“So we have lots and lots of police who were investigating who are now being assigned to be disclosure officers,” Sly told Ross and Russ.

“It’s just ridiculous.”
