It’s a boy! Kate gives birth to a little prince
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have welcomed their third child, a baby prince.
The royal couple greeted on-lookers as they left St Mary’s Hospital in London, with her Royal Highness cradling the child (pictured above).
Weighing in at eight pounds, seven ounces, the baby boy is fifth in line to the British throne.
Gavin Gray told Ross and John bookmakers have installed ‘Arthur’ as the favourite in name betting.

Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge was safely delivered of a son at 1101hrs.
The baby weighs 8lbs 7oz.

The 36-year-old Duchess went into labour in the early hours of Monday morning and gave birth at 11.01am (local time).
As Queen Elizabeth’s sixth great-grandchild, he is fifth in line to the throne, behind his grandfather and current heir Prince Charles, father William and siblings Prince George, four, and two-year-old sister Prince Charlotte.
