‘It will be different’: Australian War Memorial Council chairman says Anzac Day is changing

The chairman of the Australian War Memorial Council says Anzac Day is “evolving”, and it’ll look different in years to come.

Kim Beazley, who is also a former deputy prime minister and former defence minister, says “we will go on commemorating it but it will be a different sort of people doing it”.

“It’s heavily veteran … but increasingly it’s public,” he told Neil Mitchell.
