‘It was very enjoyable’: Sam Mitchell details what went right for the Hawks against Magpies

Hawthorn head coach Sam Mitchell has admitted it was a “very enjoyable” day yesterday, as the Hawks defeated the ladder leaders Collingwood by 32 points at the MCG.

Mitchell was quick to give high praise to Finn Maginness, who tagged Magpies star Nick Daicos, holding him to just five touches.

“We have enormous faith in Finn … he was able to do the job from the first bounce right until the end,” Mitchell told 3AW Football.
