‘It was a nightmare’: Qantas passengers left furious after two cancelled flights resulted in them missing Christmas

Disgruntled Qantas passengers have revealed they were left stranded for two days in Los Angeles and were forced to miss Christmas with their families.

Maddison told 3AW Drive passengers were stuck on a plane for six hours before they were taken off and rescheduled on another flight which was also cancelled.

“At 11:20pm, they made an announcement to say … they would be cancelling our flight and putting us on another flight at 10:30 the next morning which we obviously worked out that we would be missing the entirety of Christmas with our loved ones,” she said.

Another passenger says it was the worst flight he’d ever been on.

“It was a nightmare,” he said.
