‘It makes sense’: Patrick Dangerfield calls on AFL to shorten game time
Patrick Dangerfield has called on the AFL to consider shortening game time in order to help reduce the number of injuries.
Several clubs such as Richmond and Collingwood are dealing with a lengthy injury list at the moment, with the AFLPA president saying the league should look to reduce the length of added time during quarters.

“It makes sense (to shorten quarters),” Dangerfield said on 3AW.
“Keep the 20 minutes quarters as is, but you potentially look at the way you adjudicate time on.”
