Victoria Police Chief Commissioner, Shane Patton, is prepared for a large amount of protesters at the Land Forces 2024 International Land Defence Exposition at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre next month.

Patton told Tom Elliott on 3AW Mornings “it could be really big”, with up to 20,000 protesters expected outside of the event.

“We are preparing for that and have been for awhile,” Patton said.

The top cop also reacted to the youth justice reforms announced by Premier Jacinta Allan yesterday, as well as the terror threat level being raised and pro-Hamas supporters becoming refugees.
