How does Sydney’s current side and form compare to the all-conquering Essendon side in 2000?

That question was posed to Matthew Lloyd, who played in the Dons side 24 years ago which only lost one game on the way to winning a premiership.

“I feel it’s too early (to judge them),” Lloyd said on Wide World of Sports.

“But they have a percentage of 150 and their next best is 117 so there’s a big gap at the moment.
