Is Siri spying on us? Apple forced to pay up after losing landmark case
Concerns are being rasied following a landmark court ruling which has seen a major tech company forced to shell out millions in compensation.
Apple has been forced to pay a $153 million (AUD) settlement over its voice assistant Siri, which was found to be recording conversations without consent over several years.
Pickr founder Leigh Stark told Shane McInnes that while some tracking features can be switched off to increase privacy, there may be other intended consequcvnes if users choose that option.

“You can turn features (on tracking) off,” he said on 3AW Afternoons.
“But it’s worth keeping in mind when you turn some features off, others go away.”
