Industry expert slams report into ‘dodgy’ seafood prices

A report claiming consumers are paying more for seafood due to dodgy labelling has been slammed by an industry expert.

Chief Executive Officer of Seafood Industry Australia, Veronica Papacosta, says more information about how the research was carried out is needed.

“I’m really interested in this Minderoo report and having a look at the report and how it’s been carried out … Like a lot of Minderoo reports, it’s heavy on criticism but not so much on recommendations or explanations, we’re just waiting to find out more detail,” she told Ross and Russel.
