Incredible footage shows the moment van catches fire in Burnley Tunnel

Incredible footage has captured the moment a van which caught on fire in the Burnley Tunnel today.

The MFB posted the video of the armoured van catching fire, caught by the Transurban cameras at the end of the tunnel.

Callers to 3AW Mornings reported being told to stop in the tunnel while the fire crews worked to extinguish the flames and the sprinklers were turned on.

The people inside the van managed to get out and were uninjured.

The MFB said fire crews worked swiftly to bring the fire under control within minutes.
