It’s all happening for Guy Sebastian.

A new song – Before I Go (video clip below) – a new album on the way and a free concert in Federation Square tomorrow.

He told Denis Walter luck has a “fair bit” to do with his career success but said his drive to succeed was a major factor contributing to his fame.

“Most of all, my work ethic (has contributed),” he said.

“I realised that when people picked up their phones and they actually spent money to vote for me, it’s an odd thing to digest that people spent money because they saw me on (Australia Idol).

“I have this sense of gratitude that always keep me going and drives me to keep going.

“I haven’t really taken a lot of holidays in the last 15 years, I’ve kept going because I love it.”
