Impatient motorists caught driving dangerously to avoid West Gate delays

Impatient drivers caught up in West Gate delays have been caught performing dangerous manoeuvres in bids to avoid traffic today.

Only one out-bound lane is open until January 4, while maintenance works are underway.

Footage shows one driver performing an illegal U-turn, while several other motorists were caught on camera reversing back to take a turn-off they’d passed.
