‘I’m deeply sorry’: Collingwood fan apologises on the 3AW talkback line after copping AFL suspension
Suspended Collingwood member Justin Witcombe called in on the 3AW talkback line to express his regret for hugging West Coast player Harvey Johnston on the boundary on the weekend.
Mr Witcombe has been suspended for the rest of the season by the AFL for the act, and Tom Elliott thinks he has been “harshly treated”.
“I’m deeply sorry,” Mr Witcombe said.
