‘I was with the man when he died’: Caller reports fatal crash in Melbourne’s outer north-west

A man has been killed in a smash at Riddells Creek.

Neil Mitchell was alerted to the crash on Tuesday morning.

Graham, a retired firefighter, was one of those to phone in.

He was on his way home from taking his children to school when he came across the crash on Riddell Road, between Nolans Road and McDonalds Lane.

“I was with the man when he died,” he said.
