‘I?m going to f—ing do it.’ Samuel Johnson committed to raising $10m for cancer research
Soooo… we’re not quite sure: Is Samuel Johnson taking calls or not?
Just kidding.
The Gold Logie winner left no doubt about his acting future last night in a – er – ‘colourful’ response to a question from 3AW reporter Donna Demaio.
The Molly star declared he would not return to acting until he’d raised $10 million for a cancer charity in his sister’s honour.
Johnson was asked backstage after winning his first Logie of the night if he would be looking at scripts following the win.
‘When I said I’d unicycle around the country, I f—ing did it,’ he said.
‘If I say I’m going to retire and focus on this ten million, I’m going to f—ing do it.
‘I’ve shown I’m a man of my conviction… I mean what I say and I say what I mean.’

Earlier, Johnson was asked on the red carpet about his nominations.
‘If you’re nominated for a Gold, it’s a different world. I met my agent for the first time this week. I’ve been at this agency for seven years and finally I get a call – we’ve gotta meet. I’m getting to tables I was never at before.’
He said, ‘Look, I’ve bagged the Logies out for most my career and then you get nominated and you’re like, this is really important.’
