‘Huge shock’: Car rams through restaurant in Melbourne’s south-east, narrowly avoiding patrons

A restaurant in Melbourne’s south-east has suffered a “near miss” after an elderly man drove through the front window, narrowly avoiding patrons.

Daughter of the owner of Lobster Cave in Beaumaris, Deena Ferg, told Jacqui Felgate on 3AW Drive it was “obviously a huge shock”.

“Honestly, it was such a near miss and a miracle given the situation,” she said.
