How Travis Auld and Martin Pakula plan on ‘innovating’ the Formula One Grand Prix
The new Australian Grand Prix boss Travis Auld and new chairman Martin Pakula have committed to investing more in “the experience” Formula One fans will get when they attend the Albert Park track.
Multiple topics were on the agenda in this wide-ranging interview including entertainment at the grand prix, the state of the pit lanes and grandstands, and ticketing for the big annual event.
“Interest is at an all-time high, and so the balance for us is making it as accessible as we can, but then we have the obligation to commercialise the event, and getting that balance right is always going to be a challenge,” Travis Auld told Neil Mitchell.
