It’s now mandatory for Victorians who test positive on a rapid antigen test (RAT) to report their result to the state government.

The systems for reporting positive rapid results are now up and running.

Positive RAT results can be reported online or via the Coronavirus Hotline on 1800 675 398.

If you return a positive RAT test, you must immediately isolate for seven days. Your household or household-like contacts (people you’ve spent more than four hours with in a house, care facility or accommodation) must also isolate for seven days.

Household and household-like contacts must get tested with a RAT or PCR on day one and six of their isolation period.

People who do not report their RAT results to the state government may not be able to access financial and health support.
