How to make this fruit more consumer friendly
Monash Food Innovation has been commissioned by the Northern Territory government to see whether it can make jackfruit more consumer friendly.
It will involve re-packaging and re-purposing it.
So, basically, chopping the big fruit up into different sizes.
“Pretty much, yeah,” Dr Leonie van’t Hag, from the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering at Monash University, told Ross and Russel.
