How to link your vaccine certificate to the Service Victoria app on your phone
With venues now reopening to fully vaccinated Victorians, proof of vaccination status is required to get out and about.
Here’s how to link the certificate to the Service Victoria check in app:
- Make sure you have the latest version of the Service Victoria app downloaded (search for the app in the App Store or Google Play to see if there are any updates available).
- Open the Service Victoria app and press ‘Add certificate via myGov’
- Log in to your myGov account. If you don’t have one, go to my.gov.au to create one
- Scroll down to ‘proof of COVID-19 vaccination’ and press ‘Go to Medicare’
- Tap ‘view history’
- Tap ‘share with check-in app’
- Tap ‘Service Victoria’
- Tap ‘Accept and share’ and you’ll see a message saying ‘Sending certificate’
- Tap ‘Add certificate’
