How the Greens proposed supermarket industry bill could work

The Victorian Greens has released details of their supermarket industry bill.

Victorian Greens treasury spokesperson, Sam Hibbins, says their bill would see groceries designated by the government as an “essential item”.

“And then give the Essential Services Commission the power then, to set a maximum profit margin the supermarket could charge,” he told Tom Elliott.
