Missing Melbourne man Hadi Nazari has been found alive after vanishing in the Kosciuszko National Park for 13 days.

So how did he survive almost two weeks in the bush?

Survivalist Michael Atkinson said it was possible to survive on very limited food and water for that period, but the rugged terrain in the area would’ve made locating him particularly difficult.

“It’s extremely thick terrain and some of the hardest terrain in all of Australia,” he told Jimmy Bartel and Mark Allen.

“You could be waving at a chopper…as a former chopper pilot myself it’s very hard to find people on the ground.”
