Brisbane Lions star Hugh McCluggage says he wants to add a few more strings to his bow in season 2022.

He’s already one of the premier wingman in the AFL, but told 3AW he had plenty of improvement left in him.

“I’d like to be able to transition and play a few more different positions, as well,” he said.

“There are still things I can improve on the wing, but I know that I’ve got that down pat now.

“I’d like to be able to have a bit more impact around the footy, even going forward.

“I think my delivery inside 50 was really good last year but just my finishing around goals is obviously something spoken about and I’m doing a lot of work to try and improve that, as well.”

He also issued an ominous warning to anybody thinking Brisbane has missed its chance to win a premiership with its current group.

“We definitely think we’ve still got a lot left in us,” he said.
