New evidence from a University of Melbourne trial has found blue light lenses may not help eye strain.

Associate professor from the department of optometry and vision sciences, Dr Laura Downie, says they found the lenses had little to no benefit.

“You can absolutely get eye-strain from computers,  but what we’re learning more about is that eye strain is unlikely to due to the blue light coming from the computer,” she told 3AW Breakfast.
