Industry director says home builders and their clients are being ‘burnt’ due to building insurance cost increases

It was revealed today that building insurance costs are set to increase by 65% from August which will be a massive blow for first-home builders.

Executive Director of the Housing Industry Association Keith Ryan joined 3AW Drive to discuss the disappointing news for those who want to build a home.

“Home builders and their clients are being burnt bit by bit.” Ryan said on 3AW Drive.
