Hospitals ease COVID-related visitor restrictions on back of public pressure

Melbourne hospitals are easing COVID-related visitor restrictions on the back of pressure from families who’ve been unable to spend time with seriously ill loved ones.

Lisa spoke with Neil Mitchell on Tuesday, detailing her family’s devastating situation.

Less than 24 hours later, she spoke with Neil again and was thrilled with the update.

“It’s a really positive change,” she said.

“I have to say, as an individual, I felt helpless about the situation but thanks to you and your team and the power of the broadcast we’ve been able to facilitate the change.”
