It’s been a devastating start to the school holidays with five deaths on Victorian roads.

A woman has died and an infant airlift to hospital in the latest crash on the state’s roads.

The woman, aged in her 60s, was among five people in a vehicle found overturned in Stanhope, north of Melbourne, yesterday afternoon.

Three others suffered non-life-threatening injuries while the infant was airlifted to hospital as a precaution.

Earlier, a pedestrian was killed in a collision in Abbotsford.

On Saturday, a motorcyclist died in a crash at Pakenham.

While 25-year old-police officer Bria Joyce died along with a civilian motorist in a head on collision crash at Red Cliffs on Friday night.
