Homicide squad investigate death at Springvale

Homicide Squad detectives are investigating following the death of a man at Springvale.

Emergency services were called to a property on Peter Street just after 12.20am on Wednesday. 

A man, believed to be aged in his 40s, died at the scene.

The death is being treated as suspicious.

The exact circumstances surrounding his death are not yet known.

A 53-year-old Springvale man was arrested at the scene and four other people are currently assisting police.

It’s believed the parties were known to each other.
