Homes left in darkness due to ‘unplanned’ power outage in Melbourne’s inner north-west
As many as 20,000 homes in Melbourne’s inner north-west are without power.
The unplanned outage happened on Wednesday night.
Power crews are scrambling to fix the issue.
Street lights and traffic lights are also out in the area.
Impacted areas include Moonee Ponds, Essendon, Flemington, Ascot Vale, Maribyrnong and Braybrook.
Melbourne Airport is also having problems with the issue.
