Hodge left out of Brisbane’s leadership group

Brisbane has announced its leadership group for 2018.

Dayne Beams will once again captain the side, with Dayne Zorko voted in as vice-captain.

Stefan Martin, Ryan Lester, Allen Christensen, and Harris Andrews are also in the group.

Former Hawk Luke Hodge is not in the group, but his leadership is expected to be important to the young Lions squad regardless of any title.

“While (Hodge) may not be officially part of the leadership group, he is there to be called upon if needed,” coach Chris Fagan said.
