HIV patient ‘stunned’ after his medical record accessed in Alfred data breach
A man who has been treated at The Alfred for HIV says he’s been left “stunned” after receiving a letter informing him his medical record has been accessed in a massive data breach.
Steve is one of 7000 patients whose personal information was accessed by a pharmacist who no longer works for Alfred Health.
He told Neil Mitchell he “never interacted with the pharmacist” and he wants answers on why his data was accessed.
