Hire e-scooters set to be banned from Melbourne’s CBD

Hire e-scooters are set to be banned from Melbourne’s CBD, with the City of Melbourne to make the call at their council meeting tonight.

Lord mayor Nicholas Reece is taking action following a surge in complaints, and will move to cancel contracts with e-scooter providers Lime and Neuron.

“I’m fed up with the bad behaviour,” he told Ross and Russ on 3AW Breakfast.
