‘Hey peanut!’: Caller roasts Peter Dutton after work from home backflip

A caller on the 3AW talkback line has roasted federal opposition leader Peter Dutton, after backflipping on his controversial work from home policy.

Caller Joy, who used to be a member of the public service, said Dutton’s error was “he didn’t do his homework”.

“The polling would’ve told him, hey peanut, it’s in their enterprise bargaining agreement!” Joy said on 3AW Drive.

“I think you’re spot on here,” 3AW Drive host Jacqui Felgate said.

Dutton had previously stated a Coalition government would force public service workers back into the office five days a week, if elected at the upcoming federal election.
