Heidi Murphy fed up with ‘continued secrecy’ around Melbourne COVID curfew

Heidi Murphy has called out Premier Jacinta Allan for her “continued secrecy” around a controversial COVID-related curfew imposed on Victorians in 2020.

Ms Allan refused to elaborate on the decision at a press conference on Wednesday, following leaked emails which revealed the curfew wasn’t based on health advice.

Heidi told 3AW we should expect more open communication from our political leaders.

“This continued secrecy … is infuriating,” she said on 3AW Drive.

“It is the exact opposite of what we should expect from our public officials.”
