Heartless thieves steal from charity home in Melbourne’s south-east

Heartless thieves have stolen from a home about to go under the hammer for charity.

Furniture was stolen from a home in Sky Way, Carrum Downs, which was due to be auctioned on Saturday to raise money for the Menzies Caring for Kids charity.

Investigators believe the burglar parked their vehicle in the garage and loaded numerous items such as artwork, lamps and linen into their vehicle before driving off sometime between 20 May and 26 May.
