A heartless thief has stolen jewellery belonging to a victim’s deceased daughter in Moonee Ponds.

The burglar slashed the fly screen and kicked in the rear door of a property on Hopetoun Street in Moonee Valley on July 1st.
Police were told the sentimental jewellery belonging to the victim’s deceased daughter were stolen during the burglary.
The man is described as being of middle eastern appearance, aged in his 50’s, solid build, black and grey hair with a thin goatee.
