Health expert issues stark warning to parents over ‘concerning’ baby food products
A health expert has issued a stark warning to parents over “concerning” baby food products, many of which are high in sugar.
Parents are being told they’d be better off mashing up a banana or avocado, rather than buying expensive readymade foods marketed for babies and toddlers.
Executive Manager of the Food for Health Alliance, Jane Martin, says it’s important parents aren’t “hoodwinked” at the supermarket around the healthiness of these products.
