35-year-old Luke Briggs passes away due to severe injuries from brutal arrest in Hoppers Crossing

35-year-old Luke Briggs has passed away from injuries he sustained during his arrest and encounter with two police officers in the parking lot of a 7-eleven in Hoppers Crossing on July 15.

The decision was made by his family to turn his life support last night.

Crime reporter at The Age Cameron Houston joined 3AW Drive to talk about the devastating situation.

“He was much loved, they are a very close family, they are heartbroken,” Houston said on 3AW Drive.
